Most of us have
seen ... some truck or car with its nose stuck up
high in the air driving down the highway...
because it's pulling a trailer..or loaded down
with heavy cargo. And it if it's happening to
your Dakota...then you are witnessing the need
for some towing suspension upgrade.
When a trucks front end
starts riding high.. the engineered balance
originally designed into your truck is being
seriously compromised...the steering gets
light...braking performance is reduced
tremendously..and you start to experience a new
feeling your truck has never show you
before...fishtailing.
All may seem well enough
when your are driving straight along.. but should
a situation arise where a rapid stop or turning
maneuver be needed...Well...you can just about
forget about all you knew about your truck and
the way it handled..it's a different animal now..
On this update we take a
look at what's available for stabilizing and
controlling your truck when towing or hauling.
