Last time we showed you what a drum and brake shoe lining in good shape looks like and how much wear you could expect with your truck at the 30,000 mile mark.. this time we locate and identify all the other major drum brake components.. what to look for and how to clean them up for best inspection and performance.

Also we take a close look at the brake adjuster assembly.. define some of the problems you may find in this area.. identify if adjustment is necessary and describe step by step on how to adjust the brake adjuster properly to get the most mileage and performance from our truck's rear brakes.
